Germany will head to Lithuania for the FIBA U16 European Championship for Men in buoyant mood after sweeping all three games in the ING-DiBa-Junior Cup in front of the country's senior stars.
Coach Franz Menz saw his team turn in three solid performances to beat Israel 71-63, Sweden 67-52 and Argentina 64-54.
The game against Argentina was arguably the toughest of the three assignments, with the South Americans having already booked their place at the 2010 FIBA U17 World Championship by virtue of a second-placed finish at the FIBA Americas tournament.
Germany's youngsters were also boosted by a visit from coach Dirk Bauermann, point guard Steffen Hamann and star forward Dirk Nowitzki from the senior team.
Germany have been drawn in Group C for next month's tournament, and will face the Czech Republic, Spain and Croatia.
