Serbia taught hosts Ukraine another tough lesson as they extended their own unbeaten start at the U16 European Championship Men to four in convincing fashion.
Vojislav Stojanovic, Vanja Markinovic, Milos Glisic and Aleksandr Aranitovic each collected 12 points, with Glisic adding 10 rebounds, in a lop-sided contest which was enough to earn the team a congratulatory pep talk from the watching Serbian ambassador to Ukraine Dusan Lazic.
Ukraine have now lost three in a row to make their opening night victory over Latvia seem like a distant memory but they simply did not have the size to match Serbia in this one.
It was a discrepancy ruthlessly exploited as Serbia ended the game as a contest before half-time and then let their bench players continue the party in the fourth quarter.
Serbia wasted little time in asserting their authority, taking an early 15-6 lead on Slobodan Jovanovic's jump-shot and jumping out to a 24-13 lead with five quick points from Stojanivic to start the second quarter.
Stojanovic's dunk then sparked seven unanswered points that made it 35-17 with 4:15 to go in the half.
Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk did his best to keep the scoreboard ticking over for Ukraine en route to 16 points personal, but Serbia showed no mercy as the points continued to pile up in the second half.
The lead moved past 30 when Aranitovic hit a three to make it 69-36 at the start of the fourth quarter, and was more than 40 soon after as Nikola Rakicevic crowned an 11-0 run that made it 77-36.
David Miladinovic had 11 points for Serbia, with Stefan Peno scoring 10 with nine rebounds.
