Serbia finished the U20 European Championship with their sixth win in a row after beating Croatia 81-63 on the closing day of the championship.
The fate of both sides was decided before the tip off.
Serbia already secured their spot in Division A and with this win improved their record to 6-0 in Group G.
At the same time Croatia already yesterday got the ticket to Division B and had no chance to survive in the race.
Despite a 7-2 record, usually enough for a medal, Serbia will try to recover in 2012 and finish in a better spot.
The 13th spot from this year is the lowest ranking in the history of Serbian U20 basketball.
Croatia finished the championship in the 16th spot, obviously their worst location in history.
Nemanja Nedovic had 15 points and Branislav Djikic added 10 points.
Domagoj Bubalo was the top scorer of Croatia with 19 points.
Serbia finished the first quarter already with a 13 point lead, 23-10 and maintained the double-digit lead for the rest of the game.
Nedovic scored at will and made sure the gap will continue to grow by a bit whenever Croatia showed signs of a comeback.
