Slovakian champions Good Angels Kosice have replaced the injured Crystal Langhorne with fellow American forward Asjha Jones.

Having only recently signed Langhorne and brought her back to the club, the player needs to undergo surgery and her absence will be filled by her compatriot.

Indeed Jones herself has only just returned from a serious Achilles problem which forced her out of action last season, when she was playing in EuroLeague Women with Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje.

She had to spend ten months out of action after sustaining an injury last December and will now resume her career by playing for Kosice until the end of their involvement in the forthcoming EuroLeague Women campaign.

Jones will bring valuable experience in the frontcourt, the kind of which was utilised by Sparta&K during her short time in Russia.

The 34-year-old was crowned the inaugural MVP of the Final Eight back in 2012 in Istanbul, when she was playing with CB Rivas who made a surprise by reaching the Final.

The arrival of Jones follows on from the recent acquisition of Australian national team guard, Erin Phillips.
