The last remaining friendly games for EuroBasket Women 2015 are in the books and it was rising star Leticia Romero of Spain who signed off preparation in real style.

ROMERO READY TO STEP UP

Touted as the long-term successor to the evergreen Laia Palau in the Spanish backcourt, Romero gave everyone a glimpse of what lies in store for the future after pouring in 23 points as Spain rolled past Venezuela

Spain recorded a huge 103-45 success as Romero showcased her talent in the backcourt, as Marta Xargay weighed in with a 16-point cameo to help her country complete an unbeaten warm-up programme.

NACICKAITE SHOOTS DOWN CHINA

With their headline players back in their line-up, Lithuania were able to ease their way to an 86-76 triumph against China in their last outing before the Final Round.

Kamile Nacickaite fired 20 points from the wing and Gintare Petronyte added 18 points, as Lithuania took control over their Asian opponents during a powerful second half.

ALBEN SHOWS QUALITY FOR TURKEY

Point guard Isil Alben reminded everyone of her class after recording a stellar 14 points and 10 assists as Turkey rode to a 62-48 victory against Hungary.

Having only just beaten their opponents in the first meeting, the restoration of Nevriye Yilmaz to the roster made a big difference and she shared 20 points with Birsel Vardarli Demirmen.

Dora Horti led Hungary in defeat with an impressive 18 points.
