Croatia's Ivana Puzar believes her side can still qualify for the European Championships despite a disappointing start to their qualifying campaign.
Croatia paid for a poor shooting display as they suffered an unexpected 80-61 defeat in their first game against Latvia, but they bounced back to beat Ukraine 80-68 on Saturday.
They now face a strong Slovak Republic side, who will be looking for their third consecutive win when the teams take to the arena in Ruzomberok on Wednesday.
"We all hope to win," says Puzar.
"We know how Slovak Republic play and we have seen their two matches. If we are going to win it is important that our shooting is good from the start.
"Our first two results have not been good. After a big loss in Latvia it was important that we won against Ukraine.
"Unfortunately we are not yet complete as a team but I think we can still get one of the qualifying places for the European Championships."
