Slovenia took a huge step towards the second round tonight in Luleå as they picked up their second victory in Eurobasket, 73-62, over Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bosnia gave a good account of themselves throughout, but despite taking a 54-48 lead into the 4th quarter, they could not capitalise.

The game was close througout, but Bosnia built a small lead in the 3rd quarter thanks to some sloppy shooting and turnovers from Slovenia.

The 4th proved to be something of a disaster for Bosnia and Herzegovina as their stuttering offense could only produce 8 points, and Slovenia took the initiative, and the game.

Slovenia got encouraging peformances from their inside players, most notably Primoz Berec, 14 points and 2 blocks, and Marko Tusek, who added 16 points.

Haris Mujezinovic led the way for Bosnia with 16 points and 5 rebounds, while guard Damir Mrsic contributed 13.
