|Kourtney Treffers produced to expectations for Netherlands|
Italy's first game in front of their home fans at the U20 European Championship Women ended in a 65-39 defeat as they simply couldn't keep up with Netherlands in Udine on Thursday.
Turning Point: Klaziena Guijt's three-pointer in the closing stages of the opening period took the wind out of the hosts' sails and it actually proved to be the start of a 10-2 run into the second period, which was soon extended to a 34-17 advantage before the teams reached half-time.

Stats Don't Lie: Italy scored off just 18.9% of their field goal attempts in the first half while Netherlands were able to connect on 50% of their shots. Part of the reason for this was that the Netherlands ability to create better looks at the basket, inside the paint.
