|Binta Drammeh had another great game with 19 points and 15 rebounds|
But, despite the Swedish win, it was another extraordinary performance by Alina Iagupova which had everybody talking about inside Fönix Hall.
She finished with a tournament high 39 points, completing a double-double by adding 10 rebounds in addition to a creditable six assists. She dropped seven triples in the game, once again shooting over 40% from long-range.
Trailing 74-64, Ukraine scored three successive triples either side of a Drammeh basket to make it a one-shot game with two minutes remaining but Sweden made the win safe from the free-throw line.
The other game was a little more straightforward as France routed Belarus 71-35 thanks to a terrific opening half when they managed to establish a 20-point lead.
The French trashed their opponent on the glass, out-rebounding Belarus by 60-28 and this was partly why they were so dominant.
In stark contrast and on a day to forget for Belarus, none of their players could manage more than a paltry seven points.
