Italian club Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia has been announced as the host club for the 2014 EuroChallenge Final Four, set to take place from 25-27 April in the storied stadium PalaDozza in nearby Bologna.

PalaDozza, with a seating capacity of 5,721, is no stranger to hosting major basketball tournaments, with the 1966 European Cup for Men's Champion Clubs taking place inside the Bologna landmark.

Additionally, it is the second time in five years that the city of Bologna has played host to the EuroChallenge Final Four.

"The city of Bologna was the perfect host to the Final Four tournament when it previously played host city in 2009, and I am therefore confident in seeing the tournament return there this time round," said FIBA Europe Secretary General Kamil Novak.

Grissin Bon's CEO Alessandro Dalla Salda said: "We are proud to have been selected as the host club for the 2014 EuroChallenge Final Four. We are ready to make a big effort so that this event can be remembered as a special edition for all the participants and fans."

Joining host club Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia in Bologna for the Final Four will be their semi-final rivals Royal Hali Gaziantep (Turkey); along Szolnoki Olaj (Hungary) and Triumph Lyubertsy (Russia) who will meet in the other of the Friday night semi-finals.

The two losing teams will then meet in a curtain raiser to the gold medal game on Sunday, with Saturday acting as a rest day.
