|Vilmantas Dilys led the way for Tartu Rock with a 13-point, 13-rebound double-double|
Tartu Rock completed a remarkable fourth quarter comeback and then finished the job in overtime to open Group I play in the EuroChallenge with a 75-74 road win over Krasnye Krylia.
The hosts had led by 16 at the mid-point of the third quarter and went into the final stanza up 55-47, but Tartu came storming back to twice lead before Aaron Miles forced overtime with a lay-up four seconds from time.
A lay-up from Gert Dorbek gave them the advantage in the extra period and they clung on to a one-point lead as the score held through the final 82 seconds of play.
Krasnye Krylia appeared to have taken control with a 6-0 burst late in the second quarter giving them a 31-24 lead on Miles' lay-up.
Their lead moved into double figures early in the third period with Miles again pulling the trigger, and it was the point guard again to make it 46:32 with 7:22 left in the period.
Anton Ponkrashov's three stretched the lead to 53-37 two and a half minutes later but back-to-back threes from Valmo Kriisa kept Tartu alive as the fourth quarter neared.
It began with Janar Talts hitting a three after Vincent Simpson's lay-up to slice the lead to three, and another long-ball from Tanel Kurbas tied it at 60-60 with 5:36 to go.
Tartu got their noses in front but only briefly as the teams traded blows down the stretch, with the hosts leading a late Miles basket to avoid defeat in regulation.
Vilmantas Dilys led Tartu with 13 points and 13 rebounds while Dorbek had 11 points. Talts and Kurbas collected 10 each.
Miles poured in 24 points with seven assists and five steals for Krasnye Krylia, while Victor Keyru chipped in with 16 points.
