Krasnye Krylia found a way to end Port of Antwerp Giants' home winning streak as they came away with a 75-71 victory in Group I of the EuroChallenge.

Krasnye Krylia blew one early double-digit lead before building another which held up to hand PO Antwerp a first home defeat in this competition since November 2012.

Michal Ignerski led Samara with 18 points and seven rebounds while Anton Ponkrashov added 16 points.

The Russians caught the Giants cold at the start, taking a 10-0 lead as PO Antwerp failed to score in the opening five minutes of the contest, and then leading 19-5 when Ignerski made a lay-up with 57 seconds left in the opening quarter.

But the three-pointer from Ryan Pearson which ended the period heralded an PO Antwerp fightback, and midway through the second period they took a 28-27 lead on Barry Stewart's jump-shot.

Having worked so hard to get back on level terms, the Giants watched Krasnye Krylia pull away once more, Ignerski's three on the stroke of half-time making it 45-32.

The visitors suffered a late scare as a 10-point Giants run turned a 67-53 lead into a four-point game with a little over three minutes left.

However, Krasnye Krylia had kept enough in reserve to see the game out.

Demetris Nichols had 12 points for the winners with Filip Videnov adding 11.

Pearson topped the scoring charts for Antwerp with 17 as Stewart and Roel Moors collected 14 apiece.
