The Port Of Antwerp Giants will cross the border back into Belgium with their heads held high and a 74-68 EuroChallenge win over JDA Dijon to their name.
With the teams headed into the final frame with scores tied at 54, JDA Dijon went cold, managing just five points in four-and-a-half minutes as the Giants posted 13 points, led by Maxime De Zeeuw with five, giving them a clinical 67-59 lead heading into the home straight.
Belgian international De Zeeuw was influential for the Giants, finishing with a 21-point, 10-rebound double-double.
With the fate of the game squarely in their hands, the Giants did not stutter, going on to lead by as much as 11 with just over two minutes to play on the back of a Barry Stewart jump shot.
Stewart recorded 13 points for the night. Other Giants players to finish scoring in double figures were Frank Turner with 15, Roel Moors also with 13 and Marko Spica with 10.
JDA Dijon's main area of concern following the game will be their inability to match the Giants in the paint, where they were outscored by their guests 46-24.
With five assists and 16 points, Mykal Riley was the main provider for the home side.
