Andreas Jacobsen's layup with two seconds left gave Bakken Bears a 68-66 victory at Joensuun Kataja after blowing an 11-point fourth quarter lead.
Brandon Penn collected 16 points and 14 rebounds as Bakken improved to 3-2 in Group G. Chris Christoffersen added a double-double of 15 and 12 as well as the game-sealing block at the buzzer.
Joensuun took the lead late but ended up falling to 2-3, wasting 19 points from Teemu Rannikko and 11 each from Petri Virtanen and Brian Greene.
Joensuun used an 8-0 run for a 10-4 lead. It was 14-13 for Bakken after six straight points. After three more lead changes, Joensuun were ahead 19-17 after one quarter.
Bakken's 7-0 run to pull ahead 24-21 was answered later in the quarter by seven straight points from Joensuun for a 34-31 lead. The hosts were up 37-35 at intermission.
Joensuun still led 40-39 when Bakken went on an 18-5 surge for a 57-45 cushion, which was 57-49 after three quarters. Bakken pushed the lead to 60-49 before Joensuun went ahead 63-62 with a 14-2 run. Bakken went back up 66-63 until Rannikko's three with 11 seconds remaining, setting up the heroics by Jacobsen and Christoffersen.
