COACH QUOTES

Quotes Team TEHO Sport Kotka vs. GasTerra Flames Groningen

Gasterra Flames player Arvin Slagter:

“The key fact was moving the ball and our points [scored] in the paint. We played a great third quarter. We were also ready to play against their zone defense.”

Team Teho Sport Kotka player Sharaud Curry:

“They came to Kotka with no wins and played with a do or die mentality. They were a very hungry team and performed with a lot of energy.”

Gasterra Flames head coach Ivica Skelin:

“I’m more satisfied than [I was] seven days ago. The game had a similar taste as [the one] in Groningen. Last time they killed us with three point shots. This time we made some easy scores and we got our confidence from that.”

Kotka Team Sport Kotka head coach Sami Toiviainen:

“We knew that they will go inside and that was our goal too, but we scored only 10 two-point shots in the whole game. I’m very disappointed with our attitude today.”
