Michael Roll poured in 24 points and Antwerp Giants broke open a close game late in the third quarter en route to an 87-63 victory over CSU Mobitelco.
The two sides, looking to bounce back from opening week defeats in EuroChallenge Group E, played in front of 3,000 spectators in Belgium.
Antwerp had the upper hand after the first quarter with a 26-18 lead but the opponents from Romania did a good job of hanging around and only trailed 53-48 with 3:16 to go in the third quarter.
Julian Francis Vaughn dunked and Roll followed with a jumper for Antwerp, though, and after Mobitelco sank three free-throws to bring the deficit back to six, Darnell Wilson slammed one home before Timothy Black made one of two free-throws for a 60-51 Giants lead.
After a Roel Moors three-ball and another Vaughn dunk, the Giants were in command at 65-51.
They went on to outscore Marcel Tenter's side 27-12 in the frame for a blowout win.
Zoran Krstanovic had 21 points in defeat.
Roll, 24, is off to a fast start in the EuroChallenge.
He had 27 points in last week's game against Enisey.
CSU Mobitelco Head Coach Marcel Dan Tenter
"After a good first half we lost control. Congratulations for the Antwerp team. With a lot of fast breaks they made the difference. A big victory for Port of Antwerp Giants."
Antwerp Giants Head Coach Coach Eddy Casteels
"I think we controled the game on defense and offense. Defense is the key. We have also five players in double figures."
Antwerp Giants player Michael Roll
"Ok, I made 24 points. This is not the victory of Michael Roll. This is a team performance. A win that puts us back on track in the Eurochallenge."
