Apoel stayed in the hunt for a place in the EuroChallenge Last 16 with a 61-56 home victory over BC Zadar.
In the Group G win, Kevin Tiggs' 19 points led the Nicosia club and the excellent Jakov Vladovic had 24 in defeat.
Vladovic also had six assists and five steals.
A Tiggs three-ball snapped an early 7-7 tie and ignited a 15-0 run for Apoel that appeared to put them in command but Vladovic triggered a 7-0 Zadar spurt with a lay-up.
Apoel then reclaimed the initiative and went back in front by 15 before taking a 36-24 lead to the break.
The hosts had their noses in front for good but Vladovic did help keep his team in the contest and another of his driving lay-ups reduced the arrears to 56-52 with 5:45 to go.
Zadar had three other chances to get even closer but Marko Car missed two shots from long range and Pavle Marcinkovic failed to make a lay-up.
Ian Hanavan made one of two at the free-throw line for Apoel and after Zvonko Buljan hit a couple of late shots for the home side, they sealed their second win of the season and left both outfits with 2-3 records.
Next week, Apoel will host Group G leaders Pinar Karsiyaka while Zadar must square off against ETHA Encomi.
