Leading just 39-36 at half-time, Apoel outscored Chalon 25-11 in the third quarter for a 64-47 advantage.

The Cypriot team had a balanced scoring attack, with Gerben Van Dorpe also pouring in 16 and Milan Dozet contributing 15.
Chalon slumped to their second defeat in Group K.
Apoel center Gerben Van Dorpe:
"We lost 3 games so it was important to win here tonight and play a good game. We are happy of our game, we played together and with intensity."
Apoel coach Styliandis:
"Congratulations for both teams about this game. It was important to win tonight. We did our best to control and win the game."
Chalon forward Stéphane Risacher:
"To win we have to play a good game, but we did not do it tonight. It is difficult to win when we play like this at this level of competition. In offense we had find each other all the game and in we didn't defend during all the game but just by sequence."
Chalon coach Beugnot:
"We couldn't explain why we played like this because we stayed on 2 good prestations last week. No timing, no relationship, no assists. May be the players are tired but it is the job of basketball player so... No anticipation we were dominated everywhere."
