Turning Point: Poland trailed just 48-45 early in the third quarter when England went on a 14-1 run for a 62-46 lead. After nine straight Poland points to cut the margin to 62-55, England used a 14-0 spurt to put the game away for good.
Game Hero: In addition to his 18 points, Akodo added two rebounds, eight assists and four steals.
Stats Don't Lie: England out-rebounded Poland 46 to 25 and had 11 second-chance points to zero for Poland.
The Bottom Line: While Poland will be relegated to Division B for next summer, England must grab one more victory to stay in Division A. They will have to beat the winner of Czech Republic and Belgium.
