The Czech Republic picked up their second straight victory in the U18 European Championship Classification Group G by beating Belgium 86-74.
Matej Svoboda paced the Czechs with 26 points while Simon Pursl scored 22 and David Skranc added 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Belgium's top scorer was Thomas Akyazili with 20 points while Sigfredo Casero had 14 points and both Sami Demirtas and Justin Kohajda had 10.
Turning point: The Czechs were only leading 48-46 early in the second half but Pursl poured in 10 points in a 14-0 surge to blow the game open at 62-46.
Game Hero: Czech guard Viktor Pulpán may have only scored eight points but he also collected six rebounds - four of them offensive, 10 assists, one steal and one block.
Stats Don't Lie: The Czech Republic made 9 of 19 three-pointers (47 per cent) compared to 4 of 20 (20 per cent) for Belgium, who were also out-rebounded 43-28, including 14 Czech offensive rebounds.
The Bottom Line: The Czech Republic improved to 2-0 in the Classification Group G while Belgium went down to 0-2.
