Lithuania defeated Serbia 74-70 in overtime in a battle for second position in Group A of the U18 European Championship.
A 14-point, six-rebound effort from Domantas Sabonis in the fourth and overtime periods, including the game-tying lay-up with 22 seconds remaining completed a nine-point Lithuanian turnaround.
Sabonis ended the night with a 22-point, 22-rebound double-double.
Augustas Suliauskas gave Lithuania an excellent third term, controlling the ball and scoring seven points as the rest of his teammates struggled offensively before Sabonis took over to the deafening cheers of the team's travelling fan group.
Suliauskas totalled 14 points and five assists and Lukas Grabauskas scored 10.
Serbia was led by the solid backcourt pairing of Vasilije Pusica (19 points) and Aleksa Jugovic (11 points).
