The Italian team continue their winning streak, making Germany suffer a 73-38 defeat on Day Two of the U16 European Championship Women.
Italia confirmed their place in the Qualifying Round with more than 50 per cent of their points coming from the bench players, mostly from Francesca Russo and Marzia Tagliamento, who had 15 and 12 points, respectively.
The player to watch on the Italian roster remains Cecilia Zandalasini, who's betting on a second All Tournament Team nomination after 2011.
She scored 13 points and grabbed four rebounds against Germany.
The German team fought defensively but were too fragile in offense, finishing the first half with a field goal shooting percentage of only 4.3 per cent.
In the second half, Emma Stach took the team's fate in her own hands and gave a better image of what the Germans can still do in Miskolc.
Stach finished the game with 12 points.
To avoid the relegation fight, Germany will need to beat Spain on Saturday, in the clash of the 2011 Division A and Division B champions.
