The Czech Republic stay on the winning track at the U16 European Championship Women beating the Netherlands, 68-52, in the opener of Qualifying Round Group F.
The Dutch lost Fenne van der Wielen to injury and also had not Emese Hof with the team, but still kept things running on the court.
It was only when Gabriela Andelova started to get more open shots that the Czechs took the lead.
Andelova finished as the best Czech scorer, with 16 points.
Reaching half time with a six point lead, 29-23, the Czech team dominated in the second half, reaching a two digits advantage, while the Dutch team started to feel the absence of two of their main players.
Even getting in foul trouble was not a real problem for the Czechs, as they managed to clinch an important victory on the road to the Quarter-Finals.
Teresa Kracikova's double-double, 11 points and 10 rebounds, stood out in the winning effort, while Esther Fokke was the best Dutch scorer with 11 points.
