Czech Republic will face the Netherlands on Sunday to determine ninth place at the U16 European Championship for Women as both teams survived tight classification play-offs on Friday.
The Czechs held off a late rally from Hungary to win 66-59 with Kamila Hoskova scoring a game-high 21 points. While the Dutch used a 10-3 run in the fourth quarter to come from behind to defeat Slovakia 52-48.
The Slovaks, who were led by 21 points and 10 rebounds from Zofia Hruscáková, meet Hungary for eleventh.
The battle to come fifth will begin on Saturday with the losing teams from the quarter-finals, Greece meeting Sweden and France taking on Russia.
In the relegation round, Serbia missed the opportunity to secure their Division A status as Poland overturned a ten-point deficit in the second quarter to grab a 66-62 behind 20 points from Weronika Telenga.
Finland remained in the race to avoid the drop to Division B after they came from behind to beat Croatia 61-54.
