Bulgaria’s Peteva Pens Palacio de Congresos Deal

Bulgaria international Daniela Peteva has used her impressive summer with the national team as a launch pad for her career by moving to the competitive Liga Femenina.

The 1.80m forward has joined Spanish team Palacio de Congresos from Bulgarian outfit BC Dunav.

Peteva, whose national team coach is Spaniard Jose Maria Buceta, has played for her country since the age of 16.

She played about 19 minutes per game this summer as Bulgaria went 5-3 in EuroBasket Women Division A, averaging 5.8 points and 1.9 rebounds.
