The Local Organising Committee of EuroBasket 2013 has revealed the plans for the fan zones which will be organised in all four EuroBasket 2013 host cities.
The fan zones will operate from 11:00 to midnight every day, with the local municipalities having the chance to prolong the opening hours.
Every host city has arranged entertainment for local and international fans, in cooperation with local bars and restaurants.
In order for visitors to get a real Slovenian experience, traditional Slovenian food, such as Kranjska klobasa (Carniolan sausage) will be on offer in all zones.
In order to make the fan zones an event for everybody, the LOC, together with event supplier Lasko Group kept prices for drinks low, with non-alcoholic drinks available for €1.70 and beer ranging between €2.00 and €2.50.
The EuroBasket sponsors and partners will provide prizes for a variety of games that will ensure nobody gets bored, even in the breaks between games.
"The EuroBasket 2013 LOC placed a lot of attention on the entertainment part of the event, which includes offering the fans food and drinks of Slovenian origin at the official locations. I think that the municipalities of the EuroBasket 2013 First Round cities and our LOC, together with radio Val 202 in the second round and final stages have created excellent entertainment programmes and that there will be something for every taste before and after the basketball games," said EuroBasket 2013 director Ales Kriznar.
