|Derek Raivio led the rout for Okapi Aalstar with 20 points|
Okapi Aalstar enjoyed a 100-76 rout of Tsmoki-Minsk but it was not enough to keep their hopes of progression in the EuroChallenge alive thanks to Telekom Baskets Bonn's victory over EWE Baskets.
Okapi needed victory coupled with a Bonn defeat to stand a chance, and although the news from Germany was not good, they certainly did their part in a one-sided affair.
Having gradually pulled clear they began to seize complete control midway through the second period, wiith Hans Van Langenhove sinking a three to make it 35-26.
He hit another to make it 44-31 with 2:19 left in the period and Derek Raivio joined in on the stroke of half-time to make it 49-33.
An 8-0 spurt early in the third period saw them go 57-35 up on Lee Casey Cummard's lay-up and they only continued to pull away, building their largest lead of 31 when Arne Steinbach's free throws made it 96-65 with 2:53 to go.
A string of late threes from Pavel Ulyanko trimmed the deficit but were scant consolation for well-beaten Minsk.
Raivio led Okapi with 20 points while Ryan Thompson had 18, Steinbach 14 and Christopher Young 13. Van Langenhove and Ioana Tofi added 12 apiece with Cummard scoring 11.
Ulyanko scored 24 for Minsk, with Aliaksei Lashkevich had 11 and Aliaksandr Kudrautsau 10.
