|Ariadna Pujol was in stellar form for Spain, topping the scoring sheet with 20 points|
Spain continue to leave a big impression on the U18 European Championship Women after a stunning display by Ariadna Pujol helped them stroll past Turkey with a scintillating 75-32 success in Group E.
The energetic and versatile forward poured in 20 points and was in in sparkling form as Turkey buckled under a constant tide of pressure and fast breaks.
Turkey found breaching the Spanish defence a struggle throughout, only managing a meagre 12 points during a first-half when Spain gave off the aura of having plenty left still to burn - as they would later prove.
Down 31-12, Turkey managed to briefly stop the rot during the third quarter, but Spain confirmed their gold medal potential with a brutal final 10 minutes.
They completed the rout by outscoring their opponents 27-9, to leave the quarter-final hopes of Turkey hanging in the balance.
In addition to the headline production of Pujol, there was an all-action effort from Maria Arrojo who finished with nine points, nine rebounds, four assists and three steals.
