The Polish Federation (PZKosz) made public on Monday a preliminary list of 21 players that newly-appointed national team head coach Dirk Bauermann will chose from to join training camp ahead of EuroBasket 2013.
In a clear indication of intentions, the German tactician has included all of Poland's big stars, such as Phoenix Suns center Marcin Gortat, Caja Laboral's Maciej Lampe and naturalised guard Thomas Kelati.
The core of exciting ‘93-born players that make up the U20 national team also features prominently on the list, with the likes of Przemyslaw Karnowski, Mateusz Ponitka, Tomasz Gielo or Michal Michalak all hoping that they can convince Bauermann they deserve a spot in the 12-man squad that will travel to Slovenia.
