|Alexandros Spyridonidis had a game-high 18 points for Greece on Monday|
Greece used a 31-point third term to blow open a low-scoring affair against Ukraine and ease to a 25-point win in classification Group G at the U18 European Championship in Latvia.
Big quarters from Alexandros Spyridonidis, Georgios Diamantakos and Dimitrios Stamatis provided the Greeks with 31 points in the third quarter, turning what was a tight contest into a rout.
Spyridonidis provided Greece with some early momentum in the form of nine first-quarter points, but Ukraine stuck around to eventually take a one-point lead into the half.
From there it was all Greece. Spyridonidis scored a team-high 18 points and Diamantakos added another 16 and eight rebounds for a Greek team that dominated both the assist and second chance point counts.
Oleksandr Antypov led Ukraine with 12 points.
