|Hot property: Eurobasket 2013 tickets|
The sales of First Round tickets for EuroBasket 2013 started on Monday and the first games were sold out within two hours.
It came as no surprise that tickets to all games of the Slovenian team in Celje were quickly gone, with the game Georgia v Slovenia on 7 September being a small exception with a contingent of 150 tickets left for purchase at Petrol gas stations only.
Slovenia's games against Croatia and Spain were gone even quicker, with the last tickets available being sold only 20 minutes after the start.
Group B in Jesenice proved the most popular group for foreign ticket buyers, with the strong fan groups from Lithuania, Latvia and the F.Y.R. of Macedonia being staged in the city as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina and Monetenegro whose fans profit from the relative proximity.
For games in Koper, especially Finnish fans were purchasing bigger quantities. The big interest from the northern country leads to a predicted number of approximately 1,000 fans travelling to Slovenia for EuroBasket.
On average, 3,000 tickets per first round game went on sale.
Tickets for the Second Round and from the quarter-finals onwards can also still be purchased, as well as the travel packages that include accommodation, offered by Palma travel agency.
In Koper, a special info point was opened on Monday, where by-passers and basketball fans can purchase tickets and get additional information on EuroBasket 2013.
