Amadea Szamosi had a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double in Hungary's first win

Hungary picked up their first victory of the tournament, downing Lithuania 72-51 in the classification game for 15th and 16th place at the U20 European Championship Women.

Late in the first and early in the second quarter the Hungarians put together an 11-2 run to take a 30-21 advantage, and they never looked back. Early in the fourth, with Lithuania still within striking distance, another 11-2 run sealed the deal.

In victory, Hungary held a 24-7 advantage in fast-break points.

Amadea Szamosi led with 15 points and 10 rebounds, Vivien Böröndy scored 14 and Szidónia Katona 10 points for Hungary.

Ieva Kazlauskaite had 12 points for Lithuania, as both teams are being relegated into Divsion B.
