Ukraine has finished 11th at the U20 European Championship Women after defeating Poland 66-48 in the classification game for 11th to 12th place on Sunday.
Using a 12-0 run in the first five minutes of the game, Ukraine established control of the encounter. After Poland cut it to 32-27 at halftime, the Ukrainians put together a 7-0 run to start the third quarter, and cruised to victory.
In victory, Ukraine grabbed 25 offensive rebounds, and finished with a huge 60-40 rebounding advantage.
Miriam Uro-Nile had a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds, Darya Zavidna netted 14 points, Lyudmyla Naumenko collected 11 points and 16 rebounds, while Oleksandra Chek grabbed 13 rebounds along with her eight points.
Monika Skrzecz scored 14 for Poland.
