The FIBA Europe Coaching Certificate is the flagship of FIBA Europe's coaching education, but is not the only available tool when it comes to improving coaching in the continent.
The FIBA Europe coaching department also supports all national federations when it comes to their national coaching clinics.
Interested federations can file requests for lecturers and the coaching department then serves as a facilitator to find the ideal instructor.
FIBA Europe will also cover the lecturers' fees as well as their travel costs.
The latest example was a clinic of the Slovak basketball federation, held in Ruzomberok on 9 and 10 June.
The clinic was attended by more than 200 youth and senior coaches from all over Slovakia.
Professor Nenad Trunic travelled to Slovakia to lead the clinic as the main lecturer with the head coach of the Slovak National team, Peter Balint, also an instructor.

The Serbian coach, who was previously in charge of the Serbian U16 and U17 teams and is currently part of the Experts Committee of the Serbian Basketball Federation covered several aspects of modern basketball.
A full-time professor at the College of Sport and Health in Belgrade and head of the sports coaches study programme, Trunic had previously worked at coaching clinics for FIBA Europe.
"I enjoy working with the FIBA Europe coaching department," he said.
"It gives me the opportunity to attend clinics all over Europe and share my view on basketball with other coaches"
The first topic of the clinic was transition from secondary break to set plays in youth programmes.
Following a lecture on Pick&Roll defense by Balint, Trunic covered specific physical preparation for shooting in basketball.
Trunic then closed his part of the clinic with building of team defensive systems before the participants had the chance to learn more about sports nutrition and arbitration.
All interested national federations can contact FIBA Europe Head of Coaching Department Michael Schwarz at email@example.com in order to inquire about assistance with coaching clinics.
