|Tugba Palazoglu will join her fourth Istanbul club when she moves to Fenerbahce|
Tugba Palazoglu is making a city switch from Istanbul Universitesi to Fenerbahce as the EuroLeague Women runners-up continue to assemble their roster for the 2014-15 campaign.
The acquisition of the experienced Turkish national team campaigner comes off the back of guard duo Birsel Vardarli and Olcay Cakir each extending their time with the former Turkish Champions.
Notably the arrival of Palazoglu also coincides with the departure of Esmeral Tuncluer, who is to retire in October and recently installed play-caller Jacek Winnicki will be able to replace veteran know-how with more of the same in the shape of his new recruit.
The 33-year-old, who is known for her high tempo and velocity game, contributed 8.4 points and 2.8 assists in EuroCup Women last year with Universitesi.
Palazoglu will also complete the set of having played for all of the leading Istanbul clubs when she moves to Fenerbahce, since she has also worn the vest of Besiktas as well as Universitesi and spent a significant chunk of her career with arch rivals, Galatasaray odeabank.
The guard is expected to retain her spot on the Turkish national team which will host the FIBA World Championship for Women in September.
