44. Péter Lóránt (Szolnoki Olaj)
Peter Lorant registered season-highs in points and rebounds in Szolnok's series with Tartu Rock

Peter Lorant of Szolnoki Olaj was the top statistical performer overall in the EuroChallenge quarter-final play-offs, as the only player to register an average efficiency index rating over 20 at this stage.

The Hungarian big man was impressively consistent in all three games of his team's series with Tartu University Rock and accumulated a rating of 70, or approximately 23.3 per contest.

The 28-year-old power forward was also the only player to average a double-double in points and rebounds in this year's play-offs, as he contributed 18 points and 11.7 rebounds per game against Tartu to help Szolnok reach the Final Four.

Lorant scored 54 points in total in the quarter-finals, on a 14-of-29 from two-point range and an excellent 6-of-10 from beyond the three-point arc.

A team-mate of Lorant's on Szolnok, American swingman Justin Holiday, took second place on the 2014 play-offs top statistical performers table, with an average efficiency index rating of 19.7 (total of 59) in the series with Tartu.

Holiday put in excellent displays in the two road games and could have challenged Lorant for top spot, but was penalised by his discreet performance in Game 2 at home.

Even so, the 25-year-old winger's all-round play was an enormous help to Szolnok, as he averaged 15.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game in the play-offs.

Three players registered an average rating of 18 in this year's play-offs and share third place on the podium.

Jeremy Chappell, the point guard of Triumph Lyubertsy, was the only one in this company to receive a reward for his efforts, as neither Demetris Nichols of Krasnye Krylia and Tanel Kurbas of Tartu could prevent the elimination of their respective teams.

Triumph swept Ural Ekaterinburg 2-0 with characteristic ease, thanks in great part to Chappell averaging 10.5 points, 5.5 assists, 4 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game.

Nichols meanwhile averaged 17 points per game on 15-of-25 from the floor in Krasnye Krylia's series against Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia and his outstanding effort in Game 2, worth an efficiency rating of 26, almost gave the dethroned champions the right to take the series to a third game.

Kurbas was Tartu's top scorer in the play-offs as he averaged 16 points per game against Szolnok and also dished out eight assists in the series.

The best performance in an individual game in the play-offs belongs to Dejan Borovnjak of Royal Hali Gaziantep, who registered an efficiency rating of 31 in Game 2 of the series against Tsmoki Minsk.

The power forward however had only achieved a rating of 4 in the first game of the series and, with an average rating of 17.5, has just missed out on the Top 5 of statistical performers.

There are two more players who caused a stir in the quarter-finals and, just like Borovnjak, averaged an efficiency rating of 17.5 while helping their teams reach the Final Four.

The first is Courdon Higgins of Triumph, who led the quarter-finals in scoring as he averaged 23.5 points per game in the series against Ural, and the second is Lithuanian veteran Rimantas Kaukenas of Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia, who averaged 18 points per contest on 6-of-9 three-pointers in the series against Krasnye Krylia.
