Tofas SC Bursa pulled away at the finish to claim a crucial 81-72 win over Krka Novo Mesto, bringing the two clubs level at 2-1 in Group F of the EuroChallenge.
A tense fight went to the final minutes, but a quick 7-0 burst in the latter half of the fourth quarter gave Tofas the advantage they needed.
Chinemelu Elonu had 19 points while Rok Stipcevic added 17 and Serhat Cetin 15 for Tofas, who bounced back from a loss at Ural Ekaterinburg last time out.
Novo Mesto made the early running, and although they surrendered one lead they built another to go up 32-23 on Zvonko Buljan's three-pointer.
Their advantage was 36-27 at half-time, but Tofas came out of the locker room on a mission and a 13-1 run quickly flipped the tables.
That set up a tense 10 minutes as the advantage flipped this way and that.
Tofas made their move with 5:35 remaining as Stipcevic sank a three-pointer, soon followed by baskets from Elonu and Evren Buker to make it 68-59 with four minutes remaining.
When Matej Rojc made a lay-up, Novo Mesto were back within four with 2:51 to go, but Cetin answered with a three.
Key free throws from Stipcevic and Marcus Denmon then held off the visitors as they tried to find a spark.
Buljan led Novo Mesto with 20 points while Edo Muric had 14.
