| 01 January 2013 EUROLEAGUE WOMEN | Noel Kuin is back in the EuroLeague Women and adds champion experience to Mondeville's roster

Play-off hopefuls USO Mondeville have drafted in former EuroLeague Women champion Noel Kuin after deciding to release young Swedish wing Binta Drammeh. The French club is sitting with a real chance of making the post-season in Group C with four wins from seven games, although injury problems have threatened their progress. After Touty Gandega was ruled out of action on the eve of the season with an ACL injury, the club turned to Drammeh who showcased her potential at the U20 European Championship Women in Debrecen during the summer. However, the promising player struggled to make an impact and once the club also lost the influential Naignouma Coulibay with a fractured cheekbone, they clearly felt that the experience of Kuin would prove to be invaluable. The guard won the title with Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje in her first ever season in the competition, having started the 2009 campaign with TEO Vilnius and then making the switch to the Russian club. She also played in the Final and became a runner-up during 2011. Having played last summer in the WNBA with Washington Mystics, Kuin started the current European season with Elitzur Ramla, but was released when the Israeli club hit financial difficulties. |
