Fans at the EuroBasket in Lithuania will get a glimpse of the future on early Saturday afternoon when the U18 All-Star Game is staged at the Kauno Arena.
Twenty-four standout performers at this summer's U18 European Championship and FIBA U19 World Championship were selected to take part and all have arrived in Lithuania for the big day.
Both shined in Riga at this summer's U19 World Championship where the Serbians claimed silver and Russia captured bronze.
Ivanov was the MVP of this year's U18 European Championship Division B.
Following a practice in Kaunas, the players were split into two teams.
Each team will be coached by two of the top four graduates of the FIBA Europe Coaching Certificate (FECC) Second Group.
The Blue team, which will be coached by Mathias Eckhoff of Norway and Greece's Dimitris Avdalas, is loaded.
In addition to Cvetkovic, Karasev and Ivanov, there will be Paulius Semaska (Lithuania), Amedeo Della Valle (Italy), Joonas Caven (Finland), Nenad Miljenovic (Serbia), William Magarity (Sweden), Aleksandr Gudumak (Russia), Esben Reinholt (Denmark), Volodymyr Gerun (Ukraine) and Przemyslaw Karnowski (Poland).
Spain's Alejandro Abrines-Redondo and Saric are headline names in the White Team, which is to be coached by Radovan Trifunovic of Slovenia and Joergen De Linde Lind of Denmark.
Abrines-Redondo was the MVP of the U18 European Championship in Poland after leading his country to the gold medal.
Julian Andrea Gualtieri (San Marino), Tobias Borg (Sweden), Vasilje Micic (Serbia), Hugo Invernizzi (France), Samet Geyik (Turkey), Alejandro Suarez (Spain), Matteo Imbro (Italy), Rasmus Larsen (Denmark), Piotr Niedzwiedzki (Poland) and Bogdan Radosavljevic (Germany) are the other promising youngsters wearing the white jersey.
Jonas Valanciunas of Lithuania's EuroBasket squad, one of the most popular players in the country, was the MVP of the U18 All-Star Game when it was played in Katowice for the first time two years ago.
