FIBA Europe has announced the 14 substitutes that will participate in the EuroLeague Women All Star Game between teams representing Europe and the Rest of the World which will take in Gdynia, Poland on March 8th. The players were selected based on a public vote, collected throughout the months of December and January on www.fibaeurope.com. As announced last week, the starters for Europe will be Celine Dumerc, Sandrine Gruda (both UMMC Ekaterinburg), Alba Torrens, Sancho Lyttle (both Halcon Avenida) and Amaya Valdemoro (Rivas Ecopolis) Europe substitutes Yelena Leuchanka - C - Wisla Can-Pack Krakow Ewelina Kobryn - C - Wisla Can-Pack Krakow Eva Viteckova - F - ZVVZ USK Prague Justyna Zurowska - F - Gorzow Liron Cohen - G - Beretta Famila Schio Hana Horakova - G - Fenerbahce Elina Babkina - G - Lotos Gdynia Seimone Augustus, Sylvia Fowles (both Galatasaray), Angel McCoughtry (Fenerbahce), Candice Dupree (Good Angels Kosice) and Monica Wright (Lotos Gdynia) will be the starting five for the Rest of the World. Vidnoje Alexandria Quigley -G - Pécs 2010 The head and assistant coaches that will lead both teams will be announced later this week. At the same occasion, the medical staff and the participants of the three-point shootout will be made public. The All Star Game will feature a photo opportunity and a number of social activities for the players on March 7th and 8th. The game itself will be on Tuesday March 8, with a three-point shootout taking place at half-time. The game's venue is The Sport and Show Hall "Gdynia" in Gdynia, Poland.
