Representatives from countries competing in EuroBasket 2013 inspect Stozice Arena

Representatives of the countries that will compete in this summer's EuroBasket visited Slovenia earlier this week, taking in the four cities that will be hosting the event.

The representatives were shown the player's hotels and arenas in each of the four locations, whilst were also provided with other practical information surrounding the event.

Throughout the course of the visit representatives were able to put forward their own suggestions, which will now be taken into consideration by FIBA Europe and the Local Organising Committee (LOC).

One of those who was present in Slovenia was Czech national team manager Jakub Dura.

"I like Celje Arena very much," said Dura, adding, "Its capacity is 5000 spectators and I can already imagine what a tremendous atmosphere will be there when the home team will play. I hope that as many Czech fans as possible would come to cheer for us."

Another impressed by what they saw was Milos Pavicevic of the Montenegrin Basketball Federation.

"It's no need to stress the beauty of StoĹžice Arena, which is one of the best halls in Europe," began Pavicevic who is confident of what the Slovenians will provide at EuroBasket 2013.

"I have no doubt that all the teams will have excellent working conditions during EuroBasket 2013."
