|Joosep Toome provided a useful 15 points for Tartu Rock|
Tartu Rock came to life in the second half to blow away Gaz Metan Medias and claim a 90-66 win in Group I of the EuroChallenge.
With nothing riding on the outcome, Medias were in the hunt for their first win of the Last 16 until half-time, but were outscored 50-22 in a brutal second half.
Three-point shooting was the key as Tartu made 12-of-36 from beyond the arc compared to just 4-of-14 for the hosts.
Joosep Toome and Valmo Kriisa had 15 points each, with nine of Kriisa's coming from three-pointers.
Medias had their noses in front for most of a very tight first half in which neither team led by more than six.
Medias were up 42-36 up when Aurelian Dumitrescu sank a three-pointer 44 seconds before half-time, but a 15-2 Tartu run that spanned the interval turned the game upside down as the visitors led 53-46 when Janar Talts split a pair of free throws.
It was one-way traffic and the score ballooned as the three pointers went in.
Toome made it 62-51 from deep with 2:09 left in the third period, and a long shot from Timo Eichfuss to start the fourth period had them 71-54 up, with no way back for the hosts.
Vincent Simpson and Vilmantas Dilys added 10 points each, with Dilys grabbing eight rebounds.
Radomir Marojevic led Medias with 17 points while Dumitrescu had 13 and Slavisa Bogavac had 12.
