Covibar Rivas Ecopolis will hit opponents with a one-two punch from Hungary in their frontcourt next season. The tournament newcomers from Spain have reached an agreement to sign Hungarian center Andrea Csaszar for the 2009-10 campaign. The club liked what the 2m Csaszar, who is 27 years old, has to offer after watching her play for MMT Estudiantes last season in the Liga Femenina. She averaged six points and 3.27 rebounds per game. Hungary international center Petra Ujhelyi is already on the books at Ecopolis, along with Spain's promising youngster Tamara Abalde. |
