120 F.Y.R of Macedonia referees and commissioners have attended a refresher course which took place on the weekend of 5th and 6th October.

The course was overlooked by FIBA Europe referee instructor Davorin Nakic and notable former official Valentin Lazarov.

The referees who attended the course officiate the 1st and 2nd divisions of F.Y.R of Macedonia basketball. Two international referees from Albania were also in attendance.

In the theoretical and practical lectures, the main topics being addressed were illegal screens and the importance of the lead referee.

"There was great productivity and a lot of good questions," said Nakic, adding, "it was good to see a lot of young motivated referees with strong knowledge foundations."
