Brown Back At Zaragoza For Third Time

Kiesha Brown already has experience from three season in the EuroCup Women with Extragusa ('08), Irun ('06) and USK Prague ('05)

American forward Kiesha Brown returns to Mann Filter Zaragoza to boost the club's EuroCup Women prospects for the 2010-11 campaign.

It marks the player's third stint at the club.

She played for the Liga Femenina team in the 2001-02 and 2006-07 campaigns.

The 31-year-old has plenty of experience in Europe as she has also played for Dynamo Moscow, USK Prague and Ramat Hasharon of Israel.

"She knows our club and our city well," said Mann Filter Zaragoza general director Antonio Manero.

"She has a vast experience in the Spanish league and we hope that she will play a crucial part in Mann Filter's play."

Coach Victor Lapeña's could not hide his delight.

"She is a player with talent, very experienced and has a lot of knowledge of our league," he said.

Mann Filter Zaragoza roster: Cristina Ouviña, Queralt Casas, Kiesha Brown, Estela Royo, Allison Feaster, Ines Kresovic, Maria Pina, Jaklin Zlatanova, Katia Da Silva and Lucila Pascua.
