|Dewanna Bonner delivered the second-best individual performance of the season on Friday|
Dewanna Bonner stole the limelight on Friday night to earn top performer honours on the second leg of the EuroLeague Women play-offs and lead Nadezhda Orenburg to a debut Final Eight.
Nadezhda registered an 83-76 win on the road to complete their 2-0 sweep over Wisla Can-Pack, with the forward recording a near triple-double.
The 26-year-old tallied 29 points and added 13 rebounds and eight assists for an efficiency index ranking of 44.
Bonner's performance is the second-best single statistical performance in the 2014 EuroLeague Women season, being only topped by Candace Parker who amassed an efficiency ranking of 48 during regular season week 4 action.
Friday's loss to Nadezhda was a bitter-sweet experience for Wisla‘s Jantel Lavender, who capped off a fantastic individual season with yet another double-double to her name.
EuroLeague Women's leading scorer (20.7 ppg) and second-best rebounder (10.7 rpg) bid farewell with a 29-point, 11-rebound double-double, claiming second spot on the top performers‘ list with an efficiency rating of 32.
Lavender shared second spot with Laura Nicholls, who had more reason to smile after leading Rivas Ecopolis to a 62-57 triumph against ZVVZ USK Prague.
The Spanish international had 22 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks, as Rivas took revenge for the loss on play-off game day one and forced a decider in Prague on 19 March.
