|Adriana Camber top-scored for Sweden with 14 points|
Sweden closed their U16 European Championship Women campaign with five straight wins, taking 9th place with a 58-51 victory over the Slovak Republic in classification action.
Both teams were happy to reach this match after slow starts to the tournament. They finished bottom of their first round groups, but avoided relegation to Division B after success in the classification games.
The Slovak Republic lost an overtime thriller when the teams met on Tuesday and they came out seemingly intent on revenge, Miroslava Mistinova's shot at the buzzer capping a 20-point first quarter as they took a six-point lead.
The lead swelled to 11 in the second period, but Sweden fought back and Elin Sjorberg's shot cut the deficit to one point at the end of the third quarter.
And Sweden moved clear in the final period, a three-pointer from Kristin Seman followed by Fanny Waldling's shot establishing a nine-point lead which they held on to down the stretch.
Adriana Camber led Sweden with 14 points and eight rebounds, and Seman finished with 11 points. Waldling added seven points and five assists to her 14 rebounds. Mistinova had a game-high 17 points for the Slovak Republic, adding eight rebounds.
