Czech Republic couldn not find the answer to an impressive performance by Aysegül Günay and Özge Kavurmacioglu who guided Turkey to an easy win in their first game at the U18 European Championship Women 2010, at Spisska Nova ves

The Czech defense managed to slowdown Kavurmacioglu on the offensive end n the second half but couldn’t stop her from eventually reaching double digits in two categories as she scored 21 point and collected 13 rebounds.

Gunay led her team in scoring (22 pts) and was 80 percent from the field in the first half.

The Chechs trailed in double digits already at the start of the third quarter, when Gunay fired from the downtown to give her team a 47-37 lead.

Martina Cepelkova led the Czech team in scorig collecting 21 points and shooting 56.2 from the field.
