| 20 March 2013 EUROLEAGUE WOMEN | | Plenette Pierson had more than one reason to celebrate on Wednesday |
Plenette Pierson has more reason to celebrate leading Good Angels Kosice into the semi-finals, with her feats also earning her Final Eight Day 3 MVP honours. With 22 points, eight boards, three steals and the same amount of assists, the American veteran showed her worth for her Slovak club, taking them to an historic 66-54 win over Bourges to book their place in the semi-finals of a EuroLeague competition for the first time in the club's history. Perhaps a day that Danielle Mc Cray would rather forget as her and her Schio teammates found themselves packing their bags by day's end, but the forward nonetheless features at number two on this list for her 17 points and six steals in a 56-60 loss to Bourges. Candace Parker continued her efficient week, again featuring on this list by picking up 11 points and nine boards in UMMC's romp over Galatasaray. Nnemkadi Ogwumike bravely returned to the court following a nasty clash with the billboards to take out fourth on the list whilst Marissa Coleman was prominent in taking Bourges to the semis.
