|Antti Kanervo led all scorers with 21 points|
Kataja Basket showed no mercy as they piled up the scoreline in the fourth quarter en route to a 77-63 victory over Leiden in Group G of EuroChallenge.
Kataja were leading 56-52 as the final stanza got under way - having let the visitors recover from a 15-point deficit early in the second half - but made sure there were no further dramas as they quickly pulled away.
Antti Kanervo scored 21 points while Michael Morrison and Renaldo Major had 14 each, Morrison piling up nine rebounds.
Kataja led almost throughout, and gained some separation with a 7-0 second quarter spurt which put them up 30-21 on a free throw from Major.
Leiden got back within three before half-time, but a 9-0 run seemed to put the hosts in complete control as Morrison's dunk made it 51-36 barely three and a half minutes into the third period.
Leiden had other ideas, and a 9-0 run of their own closed the gap to four at the end of the quarter.
It should have set up a tense fourth quarter, but Kataja came storming out of the blocks, and effectively sealed the win with 10 unanswered points to take a 68-54 lead on two free throws from Kanervo.
Worthy De Jong led Leiden with 20 points, while Whit Holcomb Faye added 14.
